Wyoming Statutes, 1967, Sections 35-13-105 through 35-13-204; Sections 16-6-501 through 16-6-504 Wyoming statutes guarantee a blind person the legal right to be accompanied by a specially trained dog guide in all public accommodations and on all public transportation. No extra charge can be levied because of the dog guide's presence, but the dog guide user is liable for any damages the dog guide might cause to the premises. Public accommodations include hotels, restaurants, stores, public buildings, places of resort and amusement, and any other place to which the public is invited. (Sect. 35-13-201) The driver of a vehicle must yield the right-of-way to a pedestrian with a dog guide. (Sect. 35-13-202) Public transportation includes buses, trains, taxis, airplanes, boats, and any other mode of public conveyance offered for public use. (Sect. 35-13-204) Violation: Any person, firm or corporation or agent thereof who interferes with the above enumerated rights is guilty of a misdemeanor and may be fined not more than $750.
